As some of you may be aware, Domino's doesn't just sell pizza. They also sell stuffed bread, bits of chicken, dessert items, and sandwiches. Salads too. If you like overpriced salad.
I've tried their chicken bacon ranch sandwich a number of times and found it to be reasonable. Nothing too exciting, but reasonable, so this time I thought I'd try their Italian sandwich.
It's basically toasted bread with a bunch of pizza toppings between. It comes with pepperoni, ham, banana peppers, green peppers, onions, and provolone cheese. It might sound like a fair amount of stuff, until you actually see it in person.
As for the taste, it's not too bad. It's not too spicy and none of the ingredients are overly objectionable, there just aren't a lot of them. The normal price for this is about $6.99 on special deal, and I think that's honestly too much for what you get.
A more reasonable price would be $5. For dinner this just really isn't quite enough on its own. You need to pair it with something else, like some of their stuffed bread. But then you're looking at closer to $14. This is more reasonable for a lunch, but for a dinner it just doesn't do.
Would I get it again? Maybe, but only if I had something to go with it, and only if my main focus, the main reason for me going to Domino's, was that other thing. Otherwise I'd rather get something a little less expensive somewhere else.
